All Squeaky Clean Limited recognises its responsibilities as a service organisation and concerns itself with both long and short term effects of its business in relation to the environment.
Whilst we welcome the introduction of legal measures, we appreciate that real progress on environmental issues can only be made through the actions of individuals and organisations.
To this end we have adopted a positive policy to promote the practical day-to-day commitment to the environment, which permeates throughout the organisation.

Waste Management
Where possible we will actively recycle the waste we create reducing environmental pressures from waste disposal by:
• We use recycled paper in all our offices
• We recycle all office paper
• We recycle tins and cans
• We recycle flat pack packaging and boxes
• We recycle all office printer cartridges
• We recycle as much of our customer’s waste as possible
• We ensure any hazardous waste is carefully disposed of
Noise
We are committed to a quiet environment, and as such, noisy equipment is used to an absolute minimum.
Vehicles
Our policy is to reduce car usage for both business and personal use and ask that our staff make as many journeys as practicable by public transport.
We minimise the amount of miles per journey, by coordinating the collecting and dropping off of keys, laundry, delivering equipment using efficient routes.
We minimise the amount of journeys by not requiring our cleaners to attend the office every day before they must travel to the site for cleaning.

Purchasing Policy
We believe it is important to continuously review the effect of our purchasing practices. We aim to purchase products, which are low polluting, recycled, ozone friendly, energy efficient, reusable, durable, not tested on animals and purchased in bulk wherever possible to alleviate unnecessary packaging.
We do not use any disposable or one-use cleaning cloths.
All cloths are washed using a low-energy cycle and air-dried to reduce the use of fossil fuels.
Paper Products
All office staff have access to networked PCs as part of our desktop strategy. This has proven to reduce the amount of paper circulating internally in the form of internal memos and newsletters, as well as the use of paper and envelopes from external sources. Where possible we send quotes and job confirmations by electronic means. See also, Waste Management above.
Training
All staff receives information of our environmental policy to enable them to find their own methods of saving energy.
