The Cloth and the Cleaner-cat
The cloth and the cleaner-cat went to a flat,
In a beautiful ocean blue lorry.
They took some tea, for plenty to see,
Wrapped up in a four hour story.
The cloth looked up to the products above,
And cleaned a little so far,
'O lovely clean! O clean my love,
What a beautiful clean you are,
You are,
You are!
What a beautiful clean you are!
|
 |
 |
Cleaner said to the cloth, 'you elegant cloth!'
How charmingly well you clean!
O let us be married! Too long we have tarried:
But what if it doesn't quite gleam?
We will come back again, in one to two days,
To the land where the dirty-doors stand.
And there totally free, our cleaners will be,
With a cloth in the palm of their hand,
Their hand,
Their hand!
With a cloth in the palm of their hand!
|
'Dear Sir, are you bound to buy for some pounds,
Your clean?' Said the client, 'I will.'
So we took keys that day, which were carried away
To the office that's just down the hill.
The keys on a hook, with the doors all locked,
Were kept till the grime was all cured.
Reliable staff, we're prompt and polite,
The cleaners are fully insured,
Insured,
Insured!
The cleaners are fully insured! |
